Short version: we collect very little, we never sell it, and we never handle your payments or your address. Here are the details.

What we collect

• Account info: if you create an account, your name and email address, plus a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Your activity: the cooks you save as favorites, and, if you run a cook page, the content you publish.
• Engagement signals: page views and link taps on cook pages, so cooks can see how their page is doing. These are tied to a one-way hashed fingerprint of your network address, never the raw address, and are used for counts only.

What we do not collect

We do not take orders, so we never store your home address, delivery details, or any payment information. Those stay between you and the cook.

How we use it

To run the directory: to keep you signed in, show your saved cooks, give cooks engagement counts for their own page, and keep the service secure. That is it. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

Cookies and local storage

We keep a sign-in token in your browser's local storage so you stay logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Service providers

We host the site and our database with Render. They process data on our behalf to keep CribGourmet running.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time, and remove saved cooks whenever you like. To access, correct, or delete your account and the data tied to it, email us at hello@cribgourmet.com and we will take care of it.
